Burning taxi

We passed by this burning taxi in Cape Town yesterday - no idea how it happened, or whether there were people inside. It seems that it caught fire while the taxi was waiting to turn right at the Good Hope Centre corner on its way to the Station taxi rank. The police arrived from Caledon Square at that same moment.

    dai, very very perceptive - I think you're the first person that has asked that question. Pollen by Jeff Noon was indeed the inspiration for what has become my nick for the last 8 years, although recently I started using Pollenoid as well.

    I love Jeff Noon. The first novel of his I read was Vurt and I fell in love immediatly. Have since read most of his stuff. Pollen is a fabulous nick! I change my nick so often... mostly i call myself mostlyblue :-) dai is new.. we'll see if it sticks....
